Meet the Team at Josh McCormick, DDS
Cathy
I am a proud Bay Area native with a passion for dental care . In 2017 I graduated from Diablo Valley College with an Associate of Science degree in Dental Assisting and have since devoted myself to providing top-notch dental assistance. Smiling exudes confidence, and I love being able to be a part of a transformation! I married my high school sweetheart, and we have a baby boy named Atreus. Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with friends and family, traveling to different places, and my guilty pleasure is binge-watching TV shows. I enjoy getting to know our patients, and helping them feel relaxed and confident in the dental chair is my priority.
Micaela
I was born and raised in the Midwest. In 2000, my husband and I moved to California. I decided to return to school and pursue a career in dental hygiene. In 2002 I received my AA degree and was accepted into the dental hygiene program at Diablo Valley College. In 2004 I graduated from that program and began working. In 2005 I was lucky enough to come across this great office and have been working here ever since! In my free time, I love going to the gym to stay healthy and in shape. Also on free weekend time, my husband and I like to catch a dinner and a movie, work on a project, or simply relax at home.
Stacie
I have nearly 18 years experience in the dental field and have been working in this practice since 2005. Prior to graduating in 2005 from Diablo Valley College with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, I worked as a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant for seven years. I am a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the California Dental Hygiene Association. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two children, Austin and Paige. When not at work I can be found volunteering at my kids' school, bookkeeping for my husband's business, and running kids to and from baseball, basketball, swim team, soccer, and dance. In my spare time my family and I enjoy camping and boating. I enjoy getting to know our patients and take pride in helping them improve their oral health while making them feel welcome and comfortable in our practice.
Nevaeh
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I graduated from the Loma Vista Adult Education Dental Assisting Program in April of 2023. I began my externship at Dr McCormick's office in January of 2023 and immediately felt right at home. I've been a part of the team since graduating from my assisting program and have grown close to my peers. Beyond work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring the outdoors, savoring delicious foods, and binge-watching movies!
Emily
Hi! My name is Emily. At the office you’ll find me at the front desk and will likely reach me when you call in! I’ve been working at Dr. McCormick’s office for 3 years now; oh, how time flies! I’ve enjoyed getting to know you all and am excited to meet more lovely new patients. I grew up in the area and have had the dream of being a dental hygienist for the longest time. Fast forward, I’ve finished up my prerequisites and am currently applying to dental hygiene programs!
Fun fact- I was terrified of the dentist as a young child, until a dental hygienist befriended me and helped me overcome my fear over the years!
In my spare time, I love to sew, tend to my plants, and read mystery books! Gregg Olson has some good true crime stories! My favorite thing in the world is my orange tabby cat, Abby.

I have been in the dental field for over 35 years. I began as a dental assistant in 1981 and continued my education to become a Dental Hygienist in 1988. I truly love my work in dentistry and strive to make patients feel welcome and comfortable during their appointments. Originally from New York, I have been enjoying California since 1997. I live in Brentwood with my husband and enjoy spending time with our two adult children.
Steffenie
I began my career at our office nearly 18 years ago as a dental assistant and, after several years of hands-on clinical experience, transitioned into the role of Office Manager. Having worked in both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry, I take pride in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for both our patients and our team. I am passionate about patient care and enjoy helping ensure each visit runs smoothly from start to finish. Outside of the office, I am a proud mom to three grown sons and love spending my free time at our cabin in Arnold with my husband and our two dogs.
